Seafarer Adventures

Music and soundscapes inspired by adventure stories of seafarers and narrations of historical sea voyages and discoveries. The instruments used to record this album are from the regions, where the seafarer Zheng He undertook from China seven large expeditions to the Pacific and Indian Oceans between 1405 and 1433. He explored the seas as far as Arabia and East Africa. The music is inspired by local sounds, but does not try to be authentic native music. It is flavoured with traditional and own music style elements. Produced as a combination of stereo and immersive binaural 3D audio. To get the full listening experience, the use of headphones is recommended.
